Arizona and Sunsets

It was time for road trippin to bless Blake and have all the kids and grandkids together in the same place.  We watched Kylan play flag football,  let Allie play at the dog park, and took lots of pictures.  I struggled with the heat on Saturday, for us northerners it was very hot.

There are picture highlights from Trevor and Summers visit.

Early Fall Drive

It's Monday and I wanted out of the house!  I told Allie to go wake Dad and she did, what a good dog. "Hey let's take a ride up the canyon and see if the colors are changing"
So we did!  Up to Tonys Grove and a hike around the lake and then down to Bear Lake for a Shake.  Of course Allie went to and Mark drove.  What a good husband. (he reads the blog)

The County Fair and Fun!

Here are some pics of the Box Elder County Fair.  Neil and Nikki came to visit, as always we
enjoyed their company and friendship.  We watched the crowd favorite, Imagine, the Beatles
tribute group.  They do a great job and always gets the crowd going especially the Yellow Submarine
song!

Skyler came to visit and it was good to see him as always.  I hope he wasn't too bored as we live at the
fair during the week and of course we always eat there.

On Friday the Pee Lamb Show is always fun to watch.  The kids, or should I say the parents do a great
job with the costumes.  The final humiliation for the lambs before, well you know what!
Then on Saturday we closed the fair with dancing until midnight, thanks to Harry and his band, Roughstock.
Doves were released during the rodeo and one found it's way to our house

Box Elder County Fair Highlights

This year I helped a neighbor check in woodworking exhibits, it was fun. We got fed by the fair and even got to eat the fair entries that were judged. Then we got our fair burgers, I got my scone and took some fun shots of the carnival at night.
I entered my photos and took 1st, 2nd and third in the amateur division!! My first place picture was the sepia of Madi. Stay around, there will more highlights to come.

My winning shot!

The carousel and ferris wheel at night, looks something in a magazine!

The orbiter was fun to shoot

The Ferris Wheel.....kind of cool shot using long shutter

I helped out with the Woodworking exhibit this year.

Fair Burgers are the best here!

The Ref

All of you have known that Mark has been a referee for many decades, like forever.
I thought it would be fun to take some shots today so you can see how adorable he looks in his referee clothes. Now to Mark...(You can't keep voting for yourself on the survey! Everyone help me out here and vote.)

I like the Wide Angle of this picture above, it was a hot day.
