Box Elder County Fair Highlights

This year I helped a neighbor check in woodworking exhibits, it was fun. We got fed by the fair and even got to eat the fair entries that were judged. Then we got our fair burgers, I got my scone and took some fun shots of the carnival at night.
I entered my photos and took 1st, 2nd and third in the amateur division!! My first place picture was the sepia of Madi. Stay around, there will more highlights to come.

My winning shot!

The carousel and ferris wheel at night, looks something in a magazine!

The orbiter was fun to shoot

The Ferris Wheel.....kind of cool shot using long shutter

I helped out with the Woodworking exhibit this year.

Fair Burgers are the best here!

The Ref

All of you have known that Mark has been a referee for many decades, like forever.
I thought it would be fun to take some shots today so you can see how adorable he looks in his referee clothes. Now to Mark...(You can't keep voting for yourself on the survey! Everyone help me out here and vote.)

I like the Wide Angle of this picture above, it was a hot day.

It can't be 20 years!

It can't be 20 years ago we got married, where does the time go anyway? Yes it is true and a few pics to prove it. Just compare then and the blogger picture! Alot more grey hair and a few pounds, just a few..... and then it's been 20 years. So how are we celebrating, going out to dinner and that is about it. Not too exciting, but heck that is our life! I think we will keep it. So here is to 20 years and at least 20 or more. And of course, A very Happy Birthday to my Dad, Dan!! Hope you have many more as well.

And if you were expecting something really mushy and sentimental, you came to the wrong blog! For 20 years, dinner better be something that includes real silverware,
and NOT ordering from a speaker that talks back to you!

Park City Escape

Neil and Niki visit Park City every August and so it was decided it was good time for the Anderson's get together. The weather was cool, which was a nice change and there were lots of opportunities to practice my photography. Some turned out really nice, others not so much. Still need to practice more, I should be ready for next year! It was great to see everyone and catch up on life. Enjoy the photo video and let me know if you like it. I am counting on Hayley to bring her camera next time! She does have her hands full with the twins and Cade, she is forgiven.

Days of 47 Rodeo

We made the road trip to the E Center for the Rodeo, it was great time to try out some actions shots with my camera. Just wish we had closer seats, hey I can't complain the tickets were free!

The lighting was bad, but at least the action was good

Going to the Outback :)

Marks mom came to visit for a week and we met his sister Amy and her family at the Outback Steakhouse for dinner. It was a fun time, the food was great! It was good see Hailey and meet her husband, she is due with twins in a few weeks, good luck Hailey!! The day was really nice, it actually felt like spring for once.

(the bottom pic I thought was cute-Allie and Gypsy really do like each other)
